“The question isn’t who is going to let me; it’s who is going to stop me?” Reflecting on today’s quote, I started thinking about my first job after college and how I quickly outgrew that organization. I wanted to apply for the open sales position and was told that the company would not allow the regional manager to promote me because it was a man's job. True story.
So, what did I do? I left to pursue a sales job without a steady paycheck. I chose the sales path because it would allow me to create my desired future and not be told by someone what I was limited to becoming.
